Editorial Policy

Last updated: June 2026

The Guru Gazette publishes independent, plain-English guides to U.S. government benefits, tax credits, and healthcare programs. This policy explains how we work.

Independence

We are an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any government agency. No organization pays us to cover, favor, or omit a topic.

How we choose topics

We cover the programs and changes that affect the most people — eligibility rules, benefit amounts, deadlines, and new legislation — prioritizing timely, high-impact updates.

Who writes and edits

Articles are written and edited under the direction of our founder and editor, Chytanya Tapakire, a financial-services professional with over a decade across banking, capital markets, and insurance. We use research tools to gather and organize information, but a human reviews every guide for accuracy before publication.

Accuracy and updates

Every figure is checked against official, primary sources and dated. We update guides when rules change and show the last-updated date. See our Fact-Checking, Sources, and Correction policies for details.

Not professional advice

Our content is general information, not personalized financial, legal, tax, or medical advice. Always confirm details with the official agency before acting.
